Familiarising Myself

Only one more day until I become an escort for Tourism New South Wales! I am a little bit nervous, but more excited than anything. I cannot wait to meet my group!

Yesterday I went into Sydney to get myself familiar with all of the sights that I will be escorting my group to on the first day.  As their escort, I figured I should know the city a little bit better than them. Our first stop is going to be the Sydney Harbour Bridgeclimb. I am going to have to try to be brave for this one. If not for myself, than for the rest of the group!

After the Bridgeclimb we will be walking down to the beautiful Waterfront Restaurant on The Rocks. It looks like a great place to sit down, have some good food, and get used to being at sea level again.

The Sydney Opera House is the next stop on our list, and one that I am sure everyone is excited for. We get a guided tour to tell us all about the ins and outs of the building.

Our last stop for the night will be at Star City Hotel & Casino for a delicious meal at Lotus Pond and some gambling in their gorgeous casino. After a full day of climbing, walking, and soaking in the sights, I am sure everyone will be ready to take a seat at a table or in front of a slot machine and (hopefully) win some money!

Perfect ending to a great day!

After walking around the city for a couple of hours, I was pretty exhausted. But I now feel completely prepared! I am excited to show these people all around this beautiful city, and I am ready for any questions or challenges that they throw at me!
