On the second day, after catching some much needed sleep, we all woke up early to catch the Taronga Ferry to the zoo! It was a beautiful day, and we were all excited to see some animals. When we arrived at the Taronga Wharf, we boarded the Sky Safari Cableway!
| Keller was a little scared, but Dorothy took full advantage of the photo opportunity! |
After a great, scenic view of the whole zoo, our personal tour guide let us get up close and personal with some of Australia's native and most interesting animals.
| The emu was not afraid of us, but I couldn't say the same about us with the emu. |
| Keller and the kangaroo got quite friendly! |
| Krystle wanted to take the cute little feathertail glider home with her, but decided that she wouldn't pass customs with him in her pocket. |
Once we had our fill of cute and cuddly animals, we all hopped aboard the Zoo Express for a cruise around the Sydney Harbour. Our guide pointed out all of the historical landmarks and clued us in to interesting tid-bits that we never would have known!
We were all exhausted from walking around the zoo. So after the harbour tour was over, Kaushik, Sahil, and Sajan could not help but grab a few Z's before lunch.
| I felt bad when I had to shake them awake, but that's my job! |
After rousting my sleepy delegates, our captain dropped us off at Darling Harbour for some lunch at the Blackbird Cafe.
| We all agreed that Blackbird Cafe is somewhere we would definitely recommend to our friends! |
The food was delicious and the view was even better. We all took the time to rest our legs and prepare for our next stop at the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World!
The Sydney Aquarium proved to be one of the coolest places of the trip! We got up close and personal with some amazing of underwater animals. Everyone loved being in the underground tunnel!
| It almost felt like you were swimming right next to them! |
| Roger and Clemente loved the giant lego statues. Great photo opp! |
Walking right next door brought us to Sydney Wildlife World, which was home only to animals native to Australia. Our guide walked us through and explained the history of Australia's diverse wildlife.
| The group at the alligator wall, getting ready to see the alligator! |
| The biggest alligator any of us had ever seen! |
| Sahil climbed at his own risk. I had an adventurous bunch! |
Walking around all day took a lot out of everyone, and a relaxing dinner cruise was exactly what we needed. We all boarded the Captain Cooke Cruise ship for a dinner complemented by dancing and live music.
| Dorothy, Keller, Clemente, Roger, and Krystle enjoying their meal on the cruise. |
| Boram, Elenoa, Kaushik, Sahil, Sajan, and Yujin smiling for the camera on the cruise. |

Day two proved to be another exhausting, but fun-filled day. Everyone in the group was more than pleased with the days activities, and were excited to see what day three had in store for them.
